I don't know if you'll like this or not, but I've been really digging them for the past while. I also hung out with Periphery, so that makes them cooler. ;D They used to also just do instrumentals, but I'm actually digging the singer they have now, even though he's sort of girly.

This song is the opening of Serial Experiments Lain (where I first heard it). Good anime, great song.
This song is the opening to Ergo Proxy, the anime playing in the video (where I first heard it). The anime was OK, but the song is amazing.

Bôa, the group who does Duvet, album named The Race of 1000 Camels is great. Loved every song on it. They also are very good live so if you ever have the chance to see them try to make it.
