After spending a few days gutting a couple AddOns and fiddling with how things are displayed with a couple different Profile management tools I've come to the conclusion that neither do exactly what I want.
The first one is very simple (the one I've been having a few of you test), and doesn't break things out very well. The upside is that everything is housed here and it's relatively easy to update.
The second I tried was http://www.wowcompanion.net/. It breaks everything out a lot better (I found out that's what that one website was using), but they store all the data on their servers and you can just query it on a character-by-character basis. It looks really nice and has a lot of good information, but I can't easily do a table of contents or anything without maintaining a separate table, which I suppose is doable. You can see an example of it here: http://www.littleurbanelites.com/members/profile.php?player=Ulic&server=Lightbringer
If someone wants to create an account on WoWCompanion and upload their data, that would be cool.
Anyway, now I'm trying to determine if I want to do some kind of hybrid or just implement all the cool bells and whistles into the standalone profiler. It's essentially the question of do we want something that works pretty good now, that requires a little more maintenance, or do we want to wait a month or so for me to flesh out the other one. I'm leaning towards the former.
