Hey man, out've curiousity, what is the size limit on the filesharing support on the website here?
Why'd you burn that house down son? "Because it needed burning sir."

I don't remember, I think you can upload as much as you want, but I'm not sure what the maximum size per file is.
There is ~500GB of space on my web-host, so as long as you don't start backing up your porn you should be okay.
Basically why I'm asking is I'm playing around with this Kael'thas video, and was wondering if i'd be able to host it on the site once i was finished. It could range anywhere from 500 mb, to 2 gigs.

Eh, the only issue is that since it's being posted to a web page you're limited to apache's timeout (which I'm not sure about, since it is set by my webhost).
Additionally, a full length movie at an adequate resolution maxes out at around 1.2gig if encoded properly, so if a boss battle takes up 2gig you're doing it wrong.
If you ask really nicely (and send me a PM with a login/password you want to use) I can set up an FTP account that points to your file share, which will make all of this moot.
I was estimating. I haven't actually done this video thing much before. Just know a 4 minute chunk of it encoded in xvid was 550 mb. Will figure out what the size of the file is once i find a program that won't crash trying to combine all 4 files into one.

what are you trying to convert. do you have 4 separate video files? If so I think windows movie maker should be able to do what you want done if you didn't try it.

I have 4 files because fraps will only record up to 3.7 gigs or so per file, so the kael video split into 4 seperate files. I'm looking for a program that can combine the 4 files without forcing me to encode/compress them, so i can turn around and encode the files with divx/xvid. I'm downloading a trial for premiere right now, and will see if that works.
