how is vegas ? (is it simple to use.) i was debating on getting it a couple of months ago to mess around with
sony vegas will work, as will Roxio Screenblast. i've used both extensively, and theres free versions out there if you hunt =P. not that you need the warning im sure, but caution = good.
Premier should do it but i dont like the UI of it as much as those up there.

@ LC. i like vegas a lot. it can do pretty much everything you'd want to do with any normal movie, and its very intuitive. we made a lot of movies in high school and used that primarily.
the only time we ever had to use anything else was making lightsabers, which required After Effects. ugh.

oh dont get me wrong, i like After Fx plenty. but when it comes to doing something -not- outrageous, I use something simpler.
