Well i guess that is good to know... It was never a problem with me for either expansion i just heard it was bad... I took a 2 month leave during both of them.

It will be interesting to see how thing all turn out... hopefully if you have a good toon and gear the changes wont make them crap... hopefully the gear gets changed accordingly too.

The two zones definitely helped out on questing - also the various quest hubs in the zone (i.e. Fizzcrank's Airstrip, the DEHTA quests) made it easier so you could go to another one if one area was particularly crowded. As for gear changes most of my alts had gear from Karazhan or crafted gear equivalent (i.e. Primal Mooncloth and Spellfire sets) and so far have not had to replace pieces except for neck and rings.

There's a lot of cool stuff coming - my biggest concern is with 10 characters all at 71+ (yes I play too much) are they going to increase the slots available per server. I like that they are filling in the old world and doing a lot of stuff along those lines...it will be interesting to see what happens. As with Malygos and Arthas for Wrath I like that Deathwing is the main villain of Cataclysm.

They said they are interested in increasing slots per server, but that might not happen for this xpac.

I hope they do - it seems like of weird to make it where leveling an alt is so easy right now (BoA items, revamped experience) and then turn around and say "congratulations you've got 10 level 80s and there's all this new cool stuff to completely re-experience Azeroth but you'll have to go to another server"....I am sure they'll do something. All I'd want is one to two more slots is all.

It seems less of a priority because they said players with all 10 server slots used is pretty rare. I get the impression that they might base it off the number of classes going forward.

The SP change seems to be interesting. It will basically work like str->AP or agi->AP works with melee, so scaling for casters could be better now if applied right. SP is a static stat for the most part tied mostly to gear and doesn't scale much with buffs as AP does.
